I'm new to SUP surfing and want to hit Leo on Thursday to maiden my new board, will anyone be done there ? What conditions am I looking for when just starting in my first waves, I have 4 years of sup experience in flat water.

Scott from all the vids that come from that part of the Leo area,it appears to be a very friendly place to sup, I miss David Johns posts this winter. Is he still around?

you just need high(ish tide).
and booties - lotsa rocks to step onto.

Yep, and stick to Crunchies while you're starting.
Give 1st & 2nd reef and Honeysuckle a miss while you're getting yourself sorted.

DJ will put you onto some golden line-ups when he's back on line.

Get amongst it man!!!!

Most importantly - Make sure you know the rules of surf etiquette before heading out in the waves.
