Painting an epoxy,carbon SUP

Looking at getting my epoxy,carbon SUP painted at a an automotive crash repairer,is solvent based paint ok to use?

They only have solvent based car paint,would that do the trick?

Thanks for all the advice, he has the acrylic which needs solvent based clear over the top or the solvent based gear?

Do not forget a good anti-UV varnish on top.

And be conscious of the added weight. If you spent extra money on a carbon board to have a light board, you could then make it as heavy as a non-carbon one with paint.

in that case ,yes you can use a bit of acrylic

I use automotive lacquer with a clear coat over the top

These lacquers are 1k
