Hi folks. I have a new paddle and want to buy some paddle guard i.e. the rubber/plastic track that fits around the paddle edge. NOT the heavy duty tape. Does anyone know where to find it? Cheers

I just put electrical tape on, it works fine. Just need to replace it every month or two. I use yellow in case I lose it and it will make it easier to find

RS Pro makes the best rail tape.. and also the best paddle tape.

It's much better than the chunky rubber/plastic car door type stuff that some people use.

Here's a vid that I did a while ago showing how I put it on my paddles.

No it aint . Clark rubber has split rubber that fits around the paddle perfectly. About 8 bucks a meter and you couldn't make a dent in a pound of butter with it . Stick it on with some silastic or the like and its good for life .

Best rail tape, hands down.

Paddle guard is another story however. I found the RS Pro paddle guard too short, way too expensive, and no better than 3M Helicopter tape, which is the best solution for paddles.

I don't find the RS Pro paddle gruard to short because I don't see the need for it to go right up to the neck of the blade.. But for those who do find this an issue they now make it longer to keep those fuss-pots happy..

It's got to be Nitto electrical tape tho not the $1 roll from the China import emporiums - it lasts for yonks and stretches / moulds / sticks really well
