SA SUP Crew/ FANATIC / ONBOARD Paul Jackson SUP Paddle Clinic -
Saturday October 29th 2011*_
We are stoked to have Paul Jackson here in SA for the weekend to be part of the Onboard Jetty to Jetty Classic.
Jacko is arguably Australias best paddler and has had some amazing results.
- 2nd Jever Sup World Cup Germany 2010
- 1st The Doctor, Western Australia 2011
- 1st BOP Califronia 10mile 12'6 Class 2011
Fanatic, Paul Jackson and Adam Quinn will be running a free 1 hour paddle clinic with 10 Fanatic Race boards provided.
This will be a great opportunity to learn from one of the worlds most respected SUP guys.
Meet 8am - WestLakes Aquatic Centre Carpark (Southern End). Bring your
board and paddle!

That would be the "arguably" part I guess.

Honestly, who cares?? Here are guys travelling down to SA and while there putting on a free clinic and you choose to rip into one line in the post.

This sort of negativity is why I generally don't bother looking at this forum anymore. Too many topics ending up with snipes at each other, guess it's real easy to do from behind a keyboard.

Hey guys,

Trust me, there is plenty you can learn from Jacko, he's a bloody strong paddler with loads of high level race experience and a good technique, and gives back plenty to a sport he is passionate about. Whether he is Australia's best paddler is irrellevant.

What's the problem? I'd be happy to pay to do a clinic with him let alone attend for free, and Quinny will have a van full of toys to play with? That's gold!

Guys plural? You think I was ripping into the OP too? Sheesh. I was trying to be supportive in pointing out that the description was fair and reasonable. Perhaps one of the other forum problems is people assuming everything is a mean spirited snipe and so they end up responding with a snipe. Arguably of course.

I'm actually looking forward to Jacko and Quinny bringing the Fanatic boards to Melbourne. Good luck with the SASUP event. Should be a good one.

Yeah we know Jamie Mitchell is our best paddler in Australia. And I for one am stoked he is off the prone boards and devoting himself to STAND-UP.

But Jacko is one of our best paddlers, as well as he brings a wealth of knowledge from other sports.

Get down there and listen in. Hopefully if your on the Goldy or he comes to your town you can get arguably the best paddler in the world (JM) to give you a few tips

Ah yes, quite right. My apologies for taking your post the wrong way in thinking you were taking my post the wrong way. Now if only I could figure out a way to make two wrongs into a right. Some say it can't be done but those people are quitters.

Not sure about Australia but I am prepared to argue my case as the best paddler in the inner north east Melbourne suburb of Ivanhoe. Over 45. 12'6 category. Flat water. Well okay then... West Ivanhoe.

So it was obviously a well considered decision on your behalf cause at that age the night life and lack of "stuff" going on must have really been getting you down.

Agreed, SA is no good for waves or wind and there are too many sharks, and we have nothing but silver balls to look at. Your best staying over the border in your home state with your crowded waves.
