Have found this book to be absolutely priceless - "boating camping and fishing" stores have it.
Great for weekend trips with camper trailer - combine with tide chart eg:

Raleigh campground on the Bellinger river -- pick weekend with right tide , paddle about 6k down to Mylstrom with scones and coffee at the riverside restaurant while keeping an eye on the river flotsam for the change of tide and paddle back.
If keen can do an arvo paddle upstream towards Bellingen. Many great trips, this is a great book.
