I bought the 7 foot version during the week. I've always heard it's one of the strongest leashes.

I took it out for my first surf today. Its now about 9 foot long and feeling very stretchy now. My 8 month old 8ft dakine is still 8 foot and its copped alot of beatings.

Is that fairly normal for that style of leash? Not sure I trust it too much after the one surf!

I bought an 8ft one that stretched out to 9ft over time, but has lasted the distance.
It's lasted longer than any other leash I've owned.

Same here, mine stretch but they last.
Never broke one apart from fin cuts.
They seem to get slowly back towards their original length in the days following some beating.

I have owned 3 of these leggier, impressed with the 12 month warranty, I kept the receipts, each one snapped in their thirteenth month. Good value but don't press luck.

Yup, I was using Creatures also before the O&E One. Very nice leashes, well designed.

I just bought the Channel Islands hexagonal section cord leash. They claim they tangle less and have less drag, we will see. They do seem to tangle less in my first session with them.

My 8ft O&E One is at least 9 ft now. But it is about 2 years old. Had a 10ft one that snapped and was replaced under warranty.
