Winter always a good time for surfing here in Gisborne. Usually lots of waves and not so many people in the water.
This was Makorori Point on Sunday morning.......ridiculously strong offshore wind but really good waves and only a handful of people out

Nice vid. Reminds me a bit of big left today - just me and a goat-boat (who turned out to be a nice guy) and some nice clean waves. Did you catch any?

Yep caught my share but had paddle mount malfunction. Had camera stuffed down wetsuit while catching waves.......was just taking pics as I was being blown back out along the line up. Was very windy.......
