No no its not, now go away... , actually a bit wider than what you'd call Groper, referred to locally by some people as monster. But its still the same slab of rock just further over..

I thought it was the best swell I have seen since last winter.....I drove thru the northern beaches on my way home yesterday and was a little disappointed with what I saw but just up and down the coast a little its been cranking.

Some great shots there adssup - thanks for sharing. Your buddy Pete charges.

My local was cooking Ted, as good as it has been for a long time. Had 2 sessions on Friday.

Yep - I looked there around 4pm - I counted 43 in the water so did not bother!!!! I was thinking that the post work crowd would add to it nicely. Conditions were nice but I did not think it was breaking that well to be honest. I bet it was cranking earlier in the day though!! It was breaking nice and wide and its good to see that the Dee Why Superbank is almost back in action.

Yes Pete got some sick ones and got some floggings, but I'm so tired now, over done it I guess.
Should be good tomorrow morning again. Not sure about Tuesday think the swell will be gone by then. I love this time of year. Stay healthy later. Jan

Wish I was there to see it. It would have been nice to sit on the left down the reef and watch.

I have been up Seals surfing the point and beach. The crowd out the point is starting to remind me of the Pass at Byron. For SUPs you are just as well off around Nobbys reef and the Gropper at Newcastle. I would be glad to have a bit of company and encouragement when I am back there.

In.passing, the tube in my profile shot is from a sequence at Nobbys Bank a few months back. I have only been back on the shortboard once since I got my first SUP seven weeks ago.

The NE is setting in and intensifying until Fri/Sat when we are due for a decent southerly. If you don't mind missing the finnal day of Surfest, Sunday might be OK at Nobbys.

I will be sailing back on the NE for the weekend.
