I hope so! I really, really hope so!

My Flow V2 is 31" and I have been doing "OK" on it, but it is 8'8 so I hope the extra foot will provide some more stability. All the standard "big wave" boards are much narrower.

Fingers crossed it will be OK...

Thanks! I must say that I am pleased with the way it came out. We are fortunate that Sunova are so responsive/supportive. I just can't wait until I actually get to use it!

The black stripe top and bottom, and the netting top and bottom are all carbon fiber - as is the black stripe around the edge (I believe). I saw the neting on another board (surfboard) and thought it looked good, but because of my hope to make it my "big wave" board, I wanted the extra strength - and I thought it looked good - even though it is covered by the pad on top of the board.

It will all add extra weight, but in bigger waves I am fine with that.
