The ocean is an awesome place and yesterday I was out sup surfing at my local break and I saw birds working.
My beach is part of a marine reserve so compared to the beaches 3km away there is a lot more fish about.
2 years ago I was out windsurfing at the same beach when a workout happened where there were birds dive bombing the water just around me and amazing to see fish in the approaching wave above my board - I was stoked
Yesterday was different - the water was a bit murky and when the birds came through the line up you could see the fish and then I saw a shark behind me and thinking of Seajuice I caught the next wave in. Hey I've seen small sharks before and stayed out but just had a feeling that sharks feeding wasn't good situation so waited 5 or so minutes for the work up to fully pass.
The wind was dropping and the waves were cleaning up so went out for another 20 minutes to end my session - peace out
