Just me and the goat boat out at the point this morning (We are both too old to be sensible)
Snapped my leg rope right out the back and had to do my best "doggy paddle" to catch up with it before it ended up on the rocks or headed off to wainui. Was fun though.

Looked like nice waves - in great conditions! I had no idea it was always so sunny and warm over there

Ha Ha.....they were lumpy bumpy chew you up if you didn't look at them nicely waves that no one else wanted to go out in
And there was ice on car windshields at the beginning of the day.
Today the point was really good.....but really windy
Got some okay footage ....but just got secondhand mac pro to do the iMovie thing.
Will take me a while to kick it around and come up with something a bit more okay quality wise.
A little knee boarder tells me towball has a shiny new red board.....probably from Roger Hall but he hasn't showed up with it at the "crunch zone" yet

If you had of surfed town yesterday where all the sensible people surfed you would have seen it

I suppose.......but you get to makorori and its so nice there.......no houses and no crowds.
The point was wonderful on sunday.....ridiculously strong offshore wind and alarming takeoffs.
Good enough to get Eddie Raro out there which is a rare sighting (he said hello to me)
