I am lookkng for a long/large (thruster) central fin for my fanatic allwave (2022).
The original one 5" is too short for me

Anyone has an idea where to find such? Or adpator to another one?

My main reason is that i dont want to switch the paddling sides too often to keep a straight line.

As far as I know, all waves have 'futures' fin boxes.

You can't make a futures fin box take a longboard fin - they are not made for it. You would need a board repairer to take it out and replace with a longboard fin box. Then a longboard fin would work.

I guess the question to ask is: is it worth it? 99% of people would say no. Most would say work on paddle technique first. Or buy a longboard style sup if paddling straight is your main concern. What makes the board turn as you paddle is what helps make it easier to turn when on a wave.

Fins would not help you for this. You need to enhance your paddling technique.

Otherwise the only solution is a (much) longer board, as Hoppo3228 said.

Now a thread hijack, looking for a 9'5" to 9'8" Allwave in WA cheap cheap. Like, snapped....

Just try to paddle with your paddle vertical and see the difference by this simple change. No need for a bigger fin.
