Looking for a different paddle experience - why not try a Paddlegaine?
This navigational based event allows you up to 3 hours to paddle around some quiet bays and backwaters of Lake Macquarie visiting checkpoints along the way, but wait there's more. Two optional "Transition" checkpoints allow you to dock your vessel and head off on foot into the local urban and bushland areas to collect land based controls. As usual with a Rogaine, it's all up to you as to where you go and by which route you get there.

Start will at 9:00 am on Sunday 3rd November 2019.
We are organising this event on behalf of NSW Rogaining and have an Aquatic License, Council permission and will have SES support boats on-hand. Vessels included are forward paddling vessels such as kayaks and SUPs. PFD's compulsory.
Rogaining is a navigational sport where you are given a map with many checkpoints drawn on it. The idea is to visit as many of these as you can, in any order you wish, then return to the start/finish location within the allocated time. In this instance it will be of 3 hours duration and there will be an optional foot based section.
