Also a massive Congratulations to Annabel Anderson who took out the double (sprints and distance) in the women's event. Annabel is in a league of her own when it comes to women's racing at the moment and was pretty much unchallenged throughout entire event (again). I heard some of the boys were getting nervous when they heard she was heading to Hamburg, but I'm pretty sure a staggered start in the distance race let the keep their dignity. Regardless of the later start, she ploughed though the men's field to cross the line in 11th or 12th overall, so it will be very interesting to see the final times.
In a tightly fought battle for the minor placings, Angie's 3rd in both the sprints and distance, secured enough points to give her 2nd overall for the women's crown.
And Beau O'Brian put together a great performance to finish 2nd in the distance race, and equal 2nd overall with Casper Steinfath and Leonard Nika. Jacko wasn't far behind with and =6th in the men's overall rankings!
Well done Aussies , the Chicago leg should be a great race with most of the big guns competing.Well done Jake , keep making the big guns nervous mate , good luck in Chicago.
