After a long weight on shipping Destroyer,s are back in stock in all sizes .
also a new colour Blue/White.
Hopfully boarders open up again soon and I can get around with some demo boards.

The red board is a 7'7 model with 100 liters.

For the take-off, I sometimes place my front foot beyond the deck pad and the hexa traction prevent me from slipping off, for the take-off the first line would be enough. There are some moments I still "run" to the nose if there are gutless waves and I go down the line because there is not enough power and seepd to make turns. I get really annoyed if I slip off the nose, and I don't like the wax on the board, therefore I added it.

If the waves were steeper I probably won't need it, but in the Netherlands is it like this.

Yeah I wonder if it would be worthwhile taking the original JL deck pad off, cutting it down to size so you would have a little bit for the rear foot with the rest being the hexa to cut down on weight.

It's already a very light board, i'm not sure much will be gained from that.

If you ask me, the only thing that I would change on the board is the deck pad, it isn't so grippy compared to the other brands, that's my only disadvantage as a Jimmy Lewis Fanboy.

I'm seriously considering taking the original deck pad off, adding a small kick pad for the rear foot and then adding the hexagrip to the rest of the board.

I'm also considering this option actually. Not that I did it yet because I haven't surfed lately and soon do I need to wear boots again, then it's also less what justaddwater is pointing out.

At least I'm relieved to hear that I'm not the only one with this issue, and true I would buy a JL again independent from the deck pad the boards are awesome.

Rob, yeah /nah.hate wax,kind of defeats the purpose,as wax gets all over everything in the car,as I don't do covers either

So to come back to this topic, I ordered the FCS 3 mm Dimples board pad en a FCS tail pad. I will post when it's on, I slipped last week again a couple of times from the pad and I thought now is it enough!
