What is the best polish to use on a fanatic fly sup board to remove some light scuff marks etc? Anyone have have any suggestions? I thought a car polish would be too abrasive.

Yes.. Magic erasers in the kitchen wear section of your local supermarket.. They really are amazing.

I bought some of that stuff in a moment of weakness. I've used it. Water beads off my board, dunno if it makes me faster. The xtreme cream stuff was separated in the bottle and was a PITA to apply, shaking the bottle to buggery to mix it back up didn't seem to help much.

For cleaning I'd rather use magic eraser. Costs less, works faster.

Good ol Jif kitchen cleaner does a great job too. I think it actually has a bit of bleach in it so it brings white boards up really nice n white.

Each to their own but when did people start polishing their boards? Does it really help? Is it an extension of uncle Ray polishing the Kingswood each Sunday? What brand does Kai Lenny et al use so I can be as good as them?. How funny!!!!. This forum sometimes resembles the notice board at a Lawn Bowls club. I'll be back after rolling the Jack!!

Agreed, Leroy. After you've been riding your board for awile there are sure to be slight pressure compression spots on the bottom of the board. You'd think that this would be most important to smooth out first to keep the fluid dynamics of the board over water more than a nice bit of shine.

Polish = good looking.

600 grade wet n dry all over = fast. It was proven long long ago that a slightly rough surface is faster.

Windsurfers, yachts, surfers etc went thru all that in the early 1990's.

Poddy, if you reckon car polish will screw up a SUP, I feel sorry for your car. What they hell do you rub it with? Most polishes nowadays are nothing but silicone with no abrasive. A mega fine cut polish and buffing wheel is what made your new car look even better than your SUP and that is an abrasive polish.
