Got any more photo? Where is that?
We'll have to start calling you charginJ
You can find more pics of the breaks around Hossegor on the facebook of the local SUP club:
https://www.facebook.com/SupWaveLeague/media_set/?set=a.556221164574188Note that the conditions were very hard to manage, as you can see there were a lot of cross-swells, making the peaks unpredictable, jacking at random without creating nice lines, all on a very, very powerful place. Personally when it is like that I tend to go to more sheltered spots :-). And I do not get out there if there are too much people, as the crowd is too hard to manage as you have a mix of hyper talented locals and pros, but also travelling kooks attracted by this world famous place.
Hossegor is quite magical, but is open to a lot of swell and wind directions, it can be quite fickle. I haven't been in the water for 2 weeks.
PS: I do not think it is SurfingJ on the pic, as he is goofy (unless he switched stance). I think I recognize the local shaper/owner of POM
www.pomcustom.com/, a talented rider and shaper than produces a tiny number of boards aside from his regular job, but is recognized enough that some of them are being painted to the colors of major SUP brands for their team riders.
