Hi Guys
In light of the level 4 travel ban we have canceled our surf trip to Lombok.
The hotel we are staying has a 50% cancellation fee up to 14 days prior to arrival.
Unfortunately they are not honoring this policy.
Has anyone come across this issue

I asked the resort manager at Sanur where I am staying for the LSR non-event, if I leave 1/2 way through booking is there a cancellation fee, was told NO, None , they understand people need to get home .
And 30% discount if needed to stay longer.

I booked for August and have been receiving emails from expedia suggesting to leave within 7 days of travel to cancel ( if you need to )
I think I'll leave it until June to avoid the queue on the phone.
Its quite annoying when travel companies don't honour their own policies, does your insurance cover it?, there's so much misinformation out there its hard to know what's right. Good luck

Try to check with your credit card company, if you pay by credit card. A lot of them include some sort of insurance.

I have insurance but most of them are not covering due to a Pandemic.
If I don't have any luck I will start promoting the hotel online
Thanks anyway guys
