Has anyone tried going down a river with the wind on their back and held up an umbrella?
I'm ****ing dead serious, as dumb as the question sounds

a $9.95 fold up umbrella is certainly a lot cheaper than a $1000 sail.

hey what about a winged suit that attaches between arms and body,

No, but I saw guys kiting in what could be termed "the development days"...
Circa 1991, St.kilda beach, blowing 20 knot northerly...
3 guys helping one other guy (lets call him pilot) down to the waters edge with a kite...
The other guys control the kite, the Pilot jumps in the water, they hand him the kite, and off he goes...
On his stomach...
All we could think was...WTF???

Hey, maybe it was DJ??
