Hehehehheh good observation, to be honest my heart wasn't even in catching that wave, I just got caught a little of guard by a big set so had to just try or get smashed anyway :-) thought I'd made it for a second or two then realised just how much I need to practice...my girlfriend was filming and said before I even took the first paddle stroke she knew it wasn't going to end well :-)
