Thanks Ang. This race on the North Shore of Oahu was unbelievable. Only a 4 mile sprint from Sunset Beach, past Pipeline to Waimea then a 150 soft sand run up the steep beach to the finish line. Over 520 paddlers including the prone paddlers. I headed out to the start line pretty early and when I got out there and looked back it was amazing to see over 300 SUP's including over 128 women coming straight towards. A fun short race and a great day.

I have some pics but don't know how to load them from my IPad. I'll keep trying unless anyone can help me out with that. Otherwise will post when I get home next week.

They're are on both Scotty.

Probably just easier if Angie or Mel, Casso, DJ, Simon, Jodie or any of my other Seabreeeze friends who are also my friends on Facebook just rips them off my Facebook page and posts them here for me. Permission granted. Just don't post the nude ones !!

Thanks DJ. Get the pic that has hundreds of paddlers going out. It looks awesome. Think it's on my wall on it's own, also in the album. I do have lots more pics that you guys would enjoy of all the boards etc. Will post next week if I ever get home.

Yes I was on Todd Bradley's own C4 14' V2 board (yellow & black). Not a hollow vortice. It was a solid one (same as Travis used at distance BOP I think). Had V2 written on the bottom. Todd used this one at last years Molokai. And also used one of his XPR all carbon racing paddles as I snapped my QB over in Kauai during a downwind.

Thanks again for posting that DJ.

Great work Sue! How long you in Hawaii for?

Also good for another Aussie Joel Mason taking line honours on a prone board

Hey Simon. We leaving after this weekend. Danny won "paper, rock, siccors" and so gets to race tomorrows Cline Mann from Hawaii Kai to Outrigger Canoe Club. While I have the kids and shuttle for him. He's using Todd's board. The same one I used last weekend. Should be fun cause the wind is howling and the surf is up. 6-8 ft.

This is the shot I wanted to share with you you guys. Check out the number of paddlers heading out to the start line !! You can see the 160 odd prone paddlers at the top left of screen. They have just started their race. SUP's started 10 mins after and there were over 350 of them. This was a really fun day.

the results list "Pace" out on the far right - is that minutes per mile? If so the winner was motoring....
