Good technique, but you don't need that much solution IMO.... it just takes longer to work out from under the tape.

I spritz much lighter, and still have the benefit of repositioning without the 10 minute squeegee workout... and zero air bubbles.

It takes me 45 seconds to position the tape and get it stuck down, bubble free.... another 3 minutes to dry all the liquid off the rail.

Is this where we get another heated discussion about which version of railsaver pro is the true and original and bestest one? I got the non puka patch one......went on nice and easy without fluid additives

Sooo, question for the guru's, with a board that has rail tape fitted, and its a sh1t job of the original install.
How, or what's the best option to remove the crap tape, and fit new please??

there have been lots of seabreeze threads addressing this issue.....did have a board with railtape on it and when I attempted to remove tape bits of the board's coatings were leaving with it.

Or wrap your paddle in nitto electrial tape an save yourself a few $$

if you ever smash your board, the rail tape makes the repair a nightmare.
Electrical tape on the paddle, done right, is more than sufficient.

Think the RS pro .....puka or non puka.....comes off easier than if you just went into Bunnings and grabbed some tape off the shelf ?
