That's fantastic. Although he would definitely want the board caddy out there with him if he's going to try that at Jaws. Can't imagine the locals would look too kindly upon someone releasing a riderless SUP board and paddle to flap about in the waves.

Fred is a famous French waterman, and has been doing this since 2009:


Note that at the time it was on a 12' hard (sandwich) board, kind of scary for the other surfers...
