I also had a great downwinder to day but it was only around 2°C...

Regarding an earlier post by RalToo about visibility -
This is the footage of the conversation we had with RalToo about visibility at the start of our downwinder.

To recap - it was only the orange and red coloured tops that he could see from his boat.
You can see what he's talking about at about 00.30 and 00.50 - the blue/white/dark colour combinations are starting to fade into the horizon.
The orange/red ones still stand out, and continued to stand out as the fleet split.

We should all dress with appropriate hi-vis orange/red when downwinding.
Self regulation is a far better option than having it imposed upon us - you can just imagine what the "authorities" would come up with...
