Hi all

So my contents insurance is up for renual and Ive got a nice expensive collection of boards in the garage that I wish to include in my cover.

Thats apparently a sticking point with the insurers Ive contacted

So does anyone out there wish to share their experiences with getting contents insurance to include all of our toys?! (Aust only!)

With my board value creeping up to a replacement value of nearly 19K its something that I don't want to neglect.

I have home and contents ANZ that's underwritten by QBE, my boards are covered anywhere in the country for theft and accidental damage up to $3K each as far as I know.

we specify the boards and OC1 under the H&C with GIO had a claim (when someone who shan't be named (me) didn't tied down a 12 month old SIC V2) which they paid and we have an ew one. So worth staying with them just for that, excess $100!
