Got back from a few weeks in Hawaii last week , scored with the swell at Waikiki, also meet up with Candice Appleby and took some shots of her for a couple days , had a beer with Aron Napoleon and hooked up with Bill Ward and a couple of the PSH heavy hitters Junior & Rich (150 kg +boys) testing out the new Hull Rippers & paddlers.Got some great shots of Bowls going off as well.

There was heaps of racing and partying going on right on the beach at Waikiki the 4th of July party out on the water was insane , here are some pics to all of the above , guarantee you watch it more than once.

Just wondering is Hawai'i still trying to gain Independence from the USA, A few years ago there was a big movement in Kauai'i with a Tent set up like the Aboriginal embassy down Canberra,Ya Hawaiian mates say anything, Gee Bowls looked like it was pumping.. You get waves?..

When is the surfing footage coming?

Yeah scored some great waves at Publics , a left hander out front of the outrigger club up to a mile long wave.Swell was predicted to get 5ft to 7th Hawaiian .When the sets came everyone scrambled for the horizon. Took some great drops on my backhand and coming around from the bottom turn you looked down the line to a 6 to 8 foot face walled up for 100m in front of you.....just insane put the throttle down and just go for it. The penalty was severe if you didn't make it... only made that mistake once with coral heads sticking out of the water. Surfed for hours until I just couldn't paddle anymore.

Other places I surfed Queens , Canoes , Populars , & Paradise.

OH YEAH, you really captured the vibe,now i'm craving boardies and hot sun on the back.BRILLIANT.
