3.49 old mate on the blue fanatic needs to learn some water safety . Looks like he took the easy option and bailed without thinking about who's around him . IMO it didn't look like he needed to do that . Looked like a close call .

Ha.. He was with us.. and a guest having his first ever taste of surfing.. and using a friends board.. Plus he's French.. (say no more)..

There were quite a few newbies there today as you can see by the vid.. It's a pretty casual spot and there was no carnage.. All good..

Great video as always. It sure was a special morning! I will upload some video later - but I think I need to try paddle-cam - mine does not looks as good from the nose of the board...

Thanks DJ - I have watched most of your vids now - even those on vimeo. Being new to SUP (i.e <mnth) I am so glad Wooz sold me a Naish. What you do with yours gives me heaps of inspiration. Keep em coming and if I ever see you on the coast I'll give you a friendly holler.

looks perfect - good swell and smooth - great vid - love the spot, sadly sitting in my office watching the wind push in - hopefully the weekend holds a few good waves. great to see the waves were not going to waste.

Not all all DJ, it's all about the stoke my friend and you have it...I've been surfing for over 30 years and in that time equipment may evolve but one thing that hasn't changed is the Stoke you feel when surfing regardless of equipment, that famous quote " the best surfer is the one having the most fun" (name less pro). Your videos depict that stoke which effects those around you and those that watch your videos, thank you my friend

Ive seen you paddle a fe time's out too zapper's Dj with a pretty solid technique !! Im sure 1 sess on the nose & you'll be all over it.
