With so many fins becoming a big pile and mess how does everyone keep them organized in a case or something to put in the car ? I guess a smaller fin wallet could be good but you never know which fins you want sometimes until you see the wave on the day haha.

For my most commonly used fins: In fin pouches stored vertically in a rectangular box

For my usual spare leashes (thicker or thinner ones), a round box:

Seldom used fins and leashes are in duffel bags somewhere in the van.

I like to go down the recycling path, cut the arms and or legs off an old wettie, insert a fin and fold over now insert another and another. Not as neat or good looking as FO surf pod though

Get some polar fleece. Fold it over, leaving a flap at the top, and sew a series of pockets for each fin like a tool roll or pencil case.

You could put a series of layers so you can have 2-3-4 fins in each pocket so you can keep sets of fins together.

I also have a big FCS wallet, but I do not think it well designed for everyday use in a car/van, it seems more adapted for plane travel.

HMB Flying Object one seems a very good solution. And as Gorgo says, I guess sewing some pouches with old clothes could be a good solution.

Windsurf fin bags handle up to 7 fins, individual padding, and can handle legths up to 12"
