Cheers for looking, need some input I'm planning a Fiji trip with the family start of August, kids need a good beach and pool, mummy would like access to yoga, I'd like to get some waves, don't mind a boat ride, don't need 5 star just clean and tidy, good food and friendly host, don't really want the big built up resorts....
Budget...I'll look at everything
We've done Mana Island, don't remember if there was surf there? That was our honeymoon ??, also on a different trip did Hideaway, on the coral coast, that was a few years ago and I've forgotten what it was like, all I remember was the reef out the front was fickle...
cheers for looking

I had Ten Glorious days @ Matanivusi Beach Eco Resort after a conference in Nadi a couple of years ago. Surfed everyday - Frigates, Shiftiest and Jays, Right on the Beach on the coral coast, pool and yoga for the wife. Minimal crowds, Great vibe, cannot recommend it highly enough. Have a look at there website for all their details.

Another thumbs up for Matanivusi Resort, stayed there for a week of downwinding. They have a dozen 12'6" Lahui Kai's and several boats to take you either upwind or out to Cloudbreak for no extra. The yoga is excellent too. Each day yoga and downwinding.
