Not a bad session, though lumpy early, it cleaned up a bit closer to sunset. And for WPort, it was big at times (the video doesn't show It)

A surf on Fathers Day is a must, have only had 2 x Fathers Days so far and have made it a tradition.

Looks like a fun wave!

That was an entertaining video... thanks windjunky. I had a really crap surf the same day on the west coast. The waves you had looked heaps better than the rubbish I attempted to ride!

It was actually very choppy and hard early, but the closer to sunset the lighter the winds and the better the surf. Still one of those days when the swell was big enough that you kept saying to yourself 'if it was 5 knots offshore it'd be AMAZING!'

Hahaha... yes, a tad wimpy. I had shoulder surgery a few years ago (result of a 'slight' mountain biking mishap) and the surgeon reckons my gradual return to SUP'ing made a huge difference to my shoulder recovery and strengthening. So its not all downhill!

A plan for you Rick...
Talk to Bert about sending you down to The Merimbula Classic in November as the Sunova Pin-Up Boy, then hitch a ride from there down to Melbourne for That Wave.
We'd all love to have ya' down here.
You could couch surf for as long as you want.
And the water will be 19-20c by then.

Too right! Mate - I'd cruise back down south as a show of support for the Creekmeister!
I need a good excuse to get back down there anyway!
Might have to start petitioning Bert!

I'd even put in a comeback cameo for that
