Not that board, but more turps - drown it. Saturate the towel, them put layers of glad wrap over it, let it sit 24 hours or more. The turps needs to get through the pad to the glue below.

Just took the deck pad off my surrator.....over a day of slapping on Diggers white spirits dry cleaning fluid (Bunnings) .....and scraping away. Day two used Diggers "wax and grease remover". But not much difference between the two
