Pretty sure I saw the same one. She had a big dude with her wearing a white collared linen shirt looking like a Russian mobster? Gotta say it doesn't interest me whatsoever but they seemed to be having a good time and stayed out of the way, so good luck to them I guess! They even caught a couple of little runners into the shore, and I mean INTO the shore - I winced every time I saw them ride it right into the sand...god knows what it did to the propulsion fins...

If you stand on one foot, i.e press one pedal down, the fins are flat against the hull of the board so can be run aground fairly safely without damaging anything.

It's sad that anyone knew the answer to that question.

I thought you'd never get me onto one of those things even if I had someone behind me poking me with a sharp pointy stick.. but once I tryed it (at the Merimbula classic) I was surprised how good it was.. and how fast and stable it was..
I've taken some vid that I must get around to editing and I'll post it soon..
It's not a surfing thing..
It's not a stand up paddle thing.. It's something completely different and I no longer hate it.

You are showing your kind and affable side again DJ. Good on you for that openness.

Whilst I like Hobie products, that one belongs in the bin.
