Hi guys..this morning I've had someone try and steal my board by ripping board by its fin off my roof lockracks and they have totally busted out the fin and box but boards still on roof. I've used the stock deep fins and changed to VP fins so I'm assuming the fin box is a standard future fin box for front side.? Need to order and replace , repair all of fin box.

Cheers man..pretty gutted..I guess is shows how strong the lockrack system is..but now I have a board in need of a repair..good thing I guess is it's a dry repair..no water damage..trying to look on the bright side...

Did they take the finbox? If not put it back in. If they did a side futures box is deeper than rear so make sure you get the right one. Order online from shapers website.

Thanks Hilly..yip they took box and fin..so it's either a 1/2" or 3/4" box. The fin missing is the front one..not the rear closest to tail..hope that makes sense ..it should b the deeper 3/4" box then

Bugger mate. That sux. I ripped one out of my minion at Xmas time, either on the sand or a tourist, not sure which one, but it was still flapping about so I just super araldited it back in.
Ugly but functional.
I was surprised I didn't feel anything, and didn't notice it until I was walking home.

Yip same here..priceless the look on my face when I unzipped my bag..! Surprised and p#ssed off ..then angry ..but can't do much about it

that is not good. My go to expert repair people are Sonic watercraft in stanley road.......when my PSH 12'6 blew off the roof rack and ripped a futures box out of the board they got a replacement fin box off someone in the mount and got it back into my board for a pretty reasonable price. Board had lost the front 6 inches.....they redid that plus fin box 175
