Anybody whos been in Vicco the last fortnight will know what I am talking about...biblical hot!!
First up the usual apologies...my camera wasnt great when I bought it five years ago and it is certainly showing its age. Hit HD all the same!!
Secondly the music...any of you Vimeo users know how to get your music of choice on your clips these days. After an extensive search of the instore selection the best I could come up with was some up tempo seventies porn sound track.
And finally...the surfing. more of the same I am afraid...at the ripe old age of 55 I am not about to turn into Kai Lenny so if youve seen it all before...sorry!!

This was the third surf on the new shooter and the first in decent waves so the first couple of turns are understandably a little flat and hesitant.
However the more time I spent in the water the more the mysteries of the new beast were revealed!!
Firstly...its fast, like real fast, accelerates out of mid face turns in the critical part of the wave with no dramas.
Secondly...great projections out of turns, this one covers some distance!
Thirdly and most surprisingly, this board puts me in places that I am not particularly familiar with...above the lip to be precise.
Never had a problem with the lip on a shortboard...I could bash it, go round it or get under it, but very seldom if ever did I go above it...was never really a priority back in the day!!
As such you can see in the vid that when it happens my survival instinct kicks in and I hit the eject button...gotta dial that back and learn to land the suckas!!!

Yeah that's the conditions I love on the sup , the shortys stay away and we can have a fat time all to ourselves

Ock, thats a bit of pot calling the kettle black action!!...actually feeling pretty good at the mo apart from Uncle Arthur moving from my knee to my big toe.
Apparently the result of dragging my back foot while getting to my feet all those years before SUP...Its official, if I dont start standing I wont be standing!!
