Keen for Saturday, Manly to somewhere or Pittwater. A downwind on Manly Dam will be very short lived

Never paddled there (though 2 mins from home) but doubt Manly Dam would work. Forecast is for Southerlys, the dam is pretty much hemmed in by hills, maaaybe get some breeze on a decent easterly.

Pittwater would be the go.

Manly Dam is 150 metres wide so it'll be a short down winder.
Pittwater or Longie to Newport/ Palmie will be the go for Saturday, though I'm hearing a number of groups already planning multiple Pittwater runs from 1st light.

Charts are still looking good.

THAT WAS EPIC. First proper downwinder, some really good sized wind swell, the V2 was MAGIC on those. Harder work on the smaller chop catching runners. We timed it to perfection, the wind had died down and then picked up again just before we went out mid afternoon, blowing hard for most of it. Ran up to the the end Palm Beach carpark.

Looking forward to the next one.
