DIY SUP vent plug

So ive got this massive ancient glass sup and have lost the vent plug.

Its a weird plastic thread and i cant find anything that fits. Its probably imperial, damn yanks.

Its so freaking big i cant consider dragging it into the local hardware store.

Thinking diy with vaseline coating, fill it up with epoxy and hope she'll mold to the thread and be loose enough to unscrew after it sets.
I could be dreaming and about f*** a perfectly good board... any better advice?

Or links to sup plug manufacturing websites that still ship to WA in the time of covid?

Looking for a quick solution so i can use it for squid fishing soon.

Surf sail Australia in WA if you need it posted or any windsurfing shop will have one. Very common vent plug

Thanks, surf sail didnt have any so i resorted to blutac which isnt a bad option really for a board i'll only use once every three months or so.

And i even caught a couple of squid this arvo ;)

holesaw that big bugger out, and then replace with a Chinook one from surf sail.
I still owe u a favour so can do that for u later on if you want.
