Hi all,

New to SUP and need to get a bag for my board. I wanted something different than the silver go to bag that everyone seems to have. Wondering if anyone has coloured bags or knows somewhere to get one made that doesnt look like my nan ran it up at home? Looking for colours like purple or mint green/teal or dark pinks?

Found an old thread on here about custom bags buts its pretty old and i couldnt find info on the companies mentioned.

Thanks in advance.

Silver fabric is actually to reflect sunlight rather than a colour. Be careful about coloured bags especially dark colours as they retain heat. I cooked a board in a blue bag on a car roof on a warm day in Spring in NZ! Silver is good.

Talk to them. They make excellent bags made to measure for your board. The bags are white and silver but ask them and they might be able to do something different. You could always do some graffiti on a white bag if you wanted.

Have a look at the Sunova bags - tons of different coloured fabric options!

The Flying Objects bags are various colours although I don't think you can order by colour - it is simply whichever colour they have decided to use for that size board. I have an orange one and a red one for 12'6" boards and my frond has a blue one for a 10'. Check with a Starboard retailer who should be able to order in as the distributor for Flying Objects is also the distributor of Starboard in Australia.

If you don't mind paying for shipping, whasup board bags in the U.K. make the best custom bags I've ever seen, and they can make pretty much anything you want. I have several (and no, I have no connection to the company).
