Really great showing. In very strong offshore wind conditions and 30' gone in the 1hour final and still no waves, he waited under everyone and took off under the apex of a bomb. On the paddle back out he took off into an inside double up foam monster tube!
The format is cool, top scoring wave gets doubled. He had it in the bag. I heard he had lived there this fall with his family for a while.
