My 2 cents, I was lucky enough to be part of a trial of compression gear back in 2002 within my workplace and the effect on recovery was significant for all involved compared to those without. I have used it ever since, especially for recovery, and feel there is a difference between brands specifically with regards smell and longevity of compression.

On the preference of brand argument, I am lucky enough to work with a brand called VIRUS and their StayWarm line of compression is fantastic. Price point is better also. If anybody would like some I go just send me a message.

Well I just ordered some pants so let's see how they go once they arrive, happy days!!

I run a Sharkskin long sleeve shirt in the colder months in the NW Tas waters. But it's the one with the full zip - this way as you start to heat up I find it's as simple as unzipping a bit. If you need to take it off completely, again, it's a lot easier with the full zip rather than trying to pull a fairly skin tight garment off over your head whilst maintaining balance.

They are now buried beneath other paddling clothes in my tub of stuff.
I know why now.

I wear a wetsuit and get wet if too hot.

Lol, time will tell if I carry it off at 56 and it crossed my mind but I am yet to see a loose fit wet suit and I will be totally covered?

I pull my tights off at home. I've never tried any where else. It shouldn't much harder.
