Heard there's a race soon from Lennox to Byron. Anyone know anything about it? Time Date support boat needed etc?

thx teatrea. i did that a lot easier than the coffs race last year, but i think i'm done for uphill racing. talking to dale today and both of our calf muscles are sore as from all strain of paddling into the elements - doms. think it will be a slow one at tomorrow morning's training

ps i might get a cheap oc1 to learn on and take it to these type of races if conditions and race line aren't good for sups- another option

Yeah thats def no fun ,let me know where you find a cheap oc1 , ill have to get motivated and come down to those early morning training sessions.

What did you do the race on?


Mark was on his new rocket ship DC16, Alain on an old DC16 and I think Dale may have been on a DC as well....... Actually it was the same DC17 that Mark won his division at the Excel on.

Dale told me yest that he had his leash tangled half of the race no doubt affecting board speed. Hard core challenge by all accounts full blown uphill for 18k's. No thanks!
