Hi. Ive been SUPing for over half a year now and want to purchase my own board. Balancing is no more an issue....Id like to go for a board that is good also on flatwaters ...but I'm more keen on catching waves.....so looking for something that is performance oriented that would be good for me to graduate to rougher waters and eventually catch some waves.......

Ive had a look at the Naish 10'6 GS...looks like something that would suit me.....but since Im a first timer looking for suggestions....

Can't go wrong with the Naish Nalu 10'6, it's a real keeper. Your smaller boards will come and go but in small surf it is such a fun board. I've got the GT version and won't be selling it any time soon, wife loves it on the flat too. A few available secondhand on Seabreeze

Get a Nalu, yep a keeper.
Preferably the 10'6" x 30" GT model.
Good for the flat & ocean.
