So... after 37 years of surfing, today for the first time I drove away from the beach without tying down my beloved Surefire Degenerate. I made it about 2.5 km before hearing a sickening thump as it flew off the roof in a 70 zone. All in all, the damage was better than I could've hoped for - no-one was hurt, the car behind me wasn't hit, all three Quobbas broke off at the box without compressing the boxes into the board and apart from a few superficial scratches there is one significant ding about 25cm long on the rail near the tail. I don't feel confident fixing something that big myself. Any recommendations for a good repair shop in Sydney?? I'm central but happy to go north or south for someone who does a good job.
