My Ke Nalu paddle gives me blisters, they go away fast so can usually just wear gloves one session, but curious if others have same issue, any solution? I wax paddle, 82 blade just under head high, thanks

I've had one since they came out,13 years ish ,never had a problem, old tradie hands possibly?,I have noticed recently that I have worn down the texture on the shaft though ,but still is grippy enough !

Ditch the wax, I've also never had a problem but I don't use wax, unless you're having way too much fun and staying out longer than your allocated time, this also could contribute to blisters but I reckon it's the wax.

I paddle race boards 3 to 4 times a week and often get blisters . That is until recently when I used bicycle handlebar tape for grip . Lots of 'racers' use grip on their paddles . I do believe you can get specialist tape but our local SUP store is out of stock .
The handlebar tape works for me .

It is very easy to get blisters with grips on paddle.
I read Ke Nalu had some rough surfacing on the shaft. Try to sand it a bit smoother, and maybe use wax or "liquid wax".
