Ok so i have ridden alot of boards and really enjoy my DW paddling. For me i could care less if i ride a 12'6, 14 or my new unlimited but for pure fun the unlimited wins hands down and if you just want to have more fun than the next guy then maybe its time to get onboard and see what real speed is.
If you think these boards are out of most peoples budgets then maybe think again and head on to your local store and find out how close one of these could be.

Jezz I'm glad they took away the red thumbs!!lol

Good conditions for an UL, and good footage. I'm seeing more and more interest in unlimiteds and within a couple of years I reckon they will outnumber 12-6s. It would help if people could try lower volume ULs and ones with fixed fins IMO. Big corky crosswind-susceptible boards with complicated rudder systems will feel too alien and unnatural to people used to 14s, but if basically the board is just like their 14 but a couple of feet longer then they will instantly feel at home and see the advantages. Going long doesn't have to mean "going boat".
