Just out of interest who is doing the Bay2Beach race this weekend.

I'm in and last I heard Luke was doing it on his 17' with his son doing the steering.

Do we need to be at the 9.30 briefing?

If not want to meet at Cott at 10 Regean and do the shuffle?

I would say we dont need to be at the 9:30 briefing.

See you at Cott carpark next to the Indiana Tea House at 10.

Talked to Jesse at canoe WA and yes SUP's do need to be at the 9.30 briefing and then make their way to the start from there. Not sure if you can do the whole thing but imagine you could enter in sundries class if you wanted too.

Looks like everyone is starting at the same time, so you guys will be on to your 3rd pint by the time we finish the 17km.

SUP guys missed out on getting their prizes at the presentation.

As well as hot dogs and beer.

I was on a ski and it was hard yakka

Yeah hard yakka alright.
Took the shorter but more exposed line from the start. Big mistake.Wind gusting to 20knots on the nose almost. The longer, calmer way was definately the way to go. Well done to everyone who finished today.
Unfortunately ran out of time to go to presentations due to baby-sitter wanting to go out.

Here are some pics sorry there are none of any other paddlers but when your mother is taking the shots of course she is only going to focus on her baby boy

Not the greatest shots but the colour of the ocean was great and so was my Mo

It was tough. Hot and killer wind at times.
We had a fairly good run, a couple of close calls with ski's, and we hit a boat which damaged the ama, but the hardest bit was just out of the harbour turning into the head wind. That hurt!!

Sorry I missed you Adam, I must say I am glad that other people were hurting cause there were times I felt as if I was going backwards.
