Howdy all
Next Bass Sup club comp will be on this Sunday the 11th at Ocean Grove.
Meeting time 7.45 for 8.00 set up and 8.30 start.
Meet at car park 13W not Ocean Grove Main Beach. This part of Grove Beach is referred to as Smiths or Smitties by the old timers and can produce some of the best waves in the Grove area on its day. Its also gives easy access to Grove Reef so should throw up some great options with the predicted offshores and moderate swell.
Hopefully Rich or Lummers will be able to upload the apropriate map as this seems to be beyond my feeble computer skills.
Just a reminder that to compete you will need to be a current financial member, so get your butts down here, should be a hoot!!

As Sparx said, beach access 13W at the end of Hodgson St.



After last events success, we will be running the same competition format. All crew competing must be a current financial member, sign ups can occur on the day. BBQ and drinks as usual.

Conditions at this early stage are looking good for some small but clean waves.

There are still a few Bass SUP hoodies available, so bring along some extra cash to snap one up.

Ordered my newy from Fordy yesterday and he said you would be over Chris.
Are you bringing Stuey? We could go somewhere really crowded and let him take the heat Come to think of it, wouldnt even have to be crowded. He's a freakin trouble magnet!
Dont know about Saturday arvo, could be a bit blowy. If you find an option give me a bell. Allways up for a bit of mayhem!

The good news is that we now have the Ant Bombie car park end of Thirteenth as an option and it should be firing.
We officialy have all bases covered thanks to some fancy footwork by Lummers.

Might bring down the 12'6 as well, it might take some talking to the power brokers at Bass Sup to come round to my way of think'n, but I reckon time is right for the Bass Sup Bop to come to fruition....food for thought?

"In order to maximise the potential for such a perfect day we are moving the comp to Thirteenth Beach, meeting at 7.30-7.45 at the Ant Carpark. This is the last major car park on the beach side of the road before the Point Poop (Black Rock) turn off.......by 7.45 you will be able to pick the cars in the carpark. Remember Black Rock end of Thirteenth Rd not Barwon Heads end."
