Off to Lombok in 2 months. AirAsia allow a 9' SUP. Could I get away with a 9'1? Not sure how pedantic they are? Thanks in advance.

I've taken a 9'5 on AirAsia before without issue. End of the day will come down to the person doing the check in.

Same in August last year. No issue at the Perth end with an 8'6 in a bulky travelling bag. Martaram was ok but will depend on who you get checking in. Enjoy.

Just change to 1 to a 0 ... like we did in high school!

Yesterday was our first time on Garuda, its a big YES.
Standard 40kg baggage each , tell them you have boards. Easy as, old school service .
Mrs. Had 9'5x32 , I had 8'6 Hipster with Mrs prone 8'0 in 9'0 bag.

As you can see we had some bulk there, no problems

AirAsia from Thailand today to Bali , 2 Sup's 1 bag , no problem, apparently windsurfer rigs are a common thing for them.
Very helpful at both ends.
