I have had it in each shoulder - occurred abouted a year apart. About 15 years ago
Had guided cortisone shots and was given a specific set of stretches/exercises . About 3 month recovery for full movement.
Was told it does not occur twice in the one shoulder and that advice has been correct so far.
Do not know if 100% recovery as shoulders pretty stuffed anyway - hence a paddle boarder.
Best advice about shoulder recovery I received was do not push it - if it hurts - stop.
Same here.
Had it in both shoulders about 2 years apart.
Got better on its own after 6 - 8 months.
Full movement after about 12 months.
Cortisone injections helped.
No known cause in my case but some people are more at risk I was told.
Diabetics are at higher risk.
Hopefully you have a speedy recovery.
I was able to flat water paddle in the later stages even though I couldn't raise my arm above my shoulder.
