Hey Maxeeboy I have entered and will be heading up for a few days but only want to take 1 race board and not sure if I should take the 12'6 or 14.

I can't imagine there will be a lot of surf so was thinking the 14 might ok for the BOP and may be a better option if I want to do some downwinders.

Do you know if there is any handicapping or anything applied for the different sizes or is it just all in and results are just position as they cross the line?

Damn shame you wont be racing Gosup but I will catch up with you for a beer.

Going to be a big weekend BOP on Saturday plus kite wave comp on Friday and kite marathon on Sunday, and waves whenever I can in between.

Goodonya Kent, 14' or 12'6 and no handicapping as the course's will be short due to the number of heats and time constraints!

Hey Bood, I already put you down for one of the 12'6 Naish Inflatos, that only leaves 8 up for grabs! Maybe I'll give the bung knee a run after all

Yep racing on inflatables makes for a fun event, so thanks to Darren Marshall from Action Sports WA for supplying them and sponsoring the event and Gordon, Jackson and the crew from SUPWA who put on a great fun day of racing at Ledge Point today prior to the start of the Lancelin Ocean Classic windsurf race.
It was a sensational morning and a handicap start for the final made for some close racing.
Michael Hastie was flying around the course but being the last to start he had a lot of ground to make up.
From memory it was Wesley Fry who took it out, Roger Goodwin first O/40 and Cristiana Chessa first female.

Yep , thanks Darren (and Gordon, Jacko, Renee et al), it was a fun event. More training required for me, that's for sure.
Took some shaky video of the final that I can share if anyone is interested.
Here are a few screen dumps.
