What sort of 'progress' are you wanting?
For most of us we do this for fun.
Having ridden both sized flows I don't reckon there is a massive difference between them. Neither surf anything like a surfboard can!!
My recommendation would be to go for the one that gives you the biggest wave count, have seen too many that go for the smallest board because of ego, and just lose the stoke factor.
your right there is a massive difference ...i just love the way you can throw the 120 around ...I might go back to paddling school
and sort out my balance ...what sort of progress you ask? just wonder if I'll ever have the balance ...or does it take some time
the 120 is the smallest board i have ever owned ....no ego with me ...
I surf a lone a fair bit ...or with prone surfers ,,,sure is easier with the 130 to get more waves ...every surf is a stoke to me .

thanks damo....good advise..
another question ..how long do most people stick with the same board ...
I'VE had 4-5 different boards in 2 years ...i reckon if i stick with one that i reckon is good and learn how to surf it and know it
i will be a better surfer...its been a long search ...and finally coming to a end .
